Today was suppose to be an enlighten discussion of sunchokes and how they effect the world's global positioning during the blue moon in July's monsoon season in Buck Grove, Iowa. It was an interesting topic, oh well, what I am posting now is much more important.
Here is five things you should know about my son, Bishop.
1. He loves trains.
2. He was 11 pounds, 12 ounces at birth.
3. He loves raw desserts.
4. He is the sweetest boy I know, a gentle giant.
5. Today is Bishop's 5th Birthday.
Happy Birthday Bishop!!!!

Aw, Happy birthday Bishop! What a joy he must be! And a big baby at birth. Wow! Hope it's a happy day!
Happy Birthday Bishop! Happy Birthday to your Mama's sweet, precious boy.
Terilynn, my Dad weighed 11 pounds when he was born in 1933. Granny told me she carried him 10 months (they didn't induce back then). She was so ready to have him, she went to Memphis from the small town they were living in (Hollow Rock,TN) and rode the giant roller coaster "The Pippin" to see if it would shake him lose. It worked (not immediately, she had him at home). She said he wasn't red or wrinkled, but smooth with long fingernails. As soon as the midwife put a blanket on him he took his two strong little arms and threw it off! Hope you didn't carry Bishop for ten months. Grandaddy brought Granny candy bars every day when he came home from delivering mail; did you eat candy bars every day? Maybe that's where the sweet disposition came from :)
Thank you for the birthday wishes HiHoRosie! He is a real joy.
Melinda,
It's nice to know Bishop is in good company. No candy bars, I was actually raw for the beginning of his pregnancy. He was a few days past his due date. Thank you for your Happy Birthday!
Awww, such a cutie! And you can tell from the pictures that he's very much loved and well-taken care of. And your daughter, too, from your juice feasting video (if I'm not mistaken)! I like blogs by raw moms. Gives me some ideas for when that time comes for me.
